Really a question

This light looks fantastic and I want a few. But, my question is this. Most flashlights that take 26650 batteries will instantly fry and die if you insert the battery backward, even for an instant. This can be avoided with about a 10 cent resistor. Does this flashlight have that protection, or will it fry and stop working if you insert the battery backward? That little thing differentiates a great flashlight from an also ran. If you have that protection, I will be back to order several.

The best flashlight I’ve ever had.

It was very bright, and has a compact size. I've only had it a week, so far so good.
